Chamber.Support is an independent software provider for chambers of commerce and business organizations in the United States. We build the system a chamber runs on — members, dues, events, directory, website — and nothing else.

What we are not

The part most sites leave out

We publish reference material about chambers and about the communities they serve. That makes it important to be exact about what this company is and is not.

We are not a chamber of commerce. We do not represent businesses, advocate on their behalf, or offer chamber membership.
We are not affiliated with the chambers we write about. Our state, county, and city pages describe local chamber landscapes as a resource. Naming an organization is not a claim of any relationship with it.
We have no local offices. Covering a city does not mean we have a presence there. This is why our location pages deliberately avoid LocalBusiness structured data and never publish a local address or phone number.
We are not affiliated with the IRS or the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Our chamber approval guides cite both as sources. Citing a body is not endorsement by it.
We do not give legal or tax advice. Our guidance is general information. Requirements vary by state and by organization.

How we make money

One subscription, paid by the chamber

Chamber.Support is funded by a flat monthly subscription paid by the chamber, with no per-member fee. That is the whole model — see pricing for current rates.

We mention this on an About page because it explains our incentives. We are paid the same whether a chamber has 40 members or 4,000, which is why nothing in the product charges per member and why our published guidance does not depend on how large your chamber is.

How we publish

Our editorial standards are written down

We publish sourcing rules, a corrections process, and a statement of what we will not publish — including why most of the locations in our database do not have an indexed page.
